How Competitive is the Coca-cola Scholarship

Since 1986, Coca-Cola Scholars Program celebrates remarkable students' leadership and academics. It has awarded over 6,300 scholarships totaling $75 million.

Annually, 150 scholarships are granted, each valued at $20,000. These scholarships are renewable for up to three additional years, potentially reaching a total value of $80,000 per scholar.

To qualify, applicants must be U.S. high school seniors, maintain a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0, exhibit leadership and community involvement, and showcase resilience in overcoming challenges.

The application window opens in August and closes in October. The process is conducted online and includes essays, transcripts, and recommendations. The program receives numerous applications, contributing to its high competitiveness.

Around 2,500 semifinalists are chosen for an in-depth review of their academic records, leadership, and community service involvement. Character, integrity, and work ethic are key considerations.

From the semifinalists, 250 finalists are selected. These finalists are invited to Atlanta for interviews, training, and networking. From them 150 Students are selected.
